BOTTLES
I started with the bottles the hospital gave
me. Bad decision. Not only is the nipple super long but it
comes out fast.
I then moved to Dr. Brown’s. This confused my
baby because the way she latched on to the bottle is much different than
how she latches on to me. Plus it also has a long nipple unlike
mine. I blame this bottle for a lot of my breastfeeding problems.
Finally, once I introduced her to Gerber DOME
NIPPLE, SLOW FLOW, she finally found a bottle closer enough to mine that
she doesn’t seem to get confused. And the slow flow is an added
bonus because it comes out slower than all the others I’ve found.
My baby still has to work harder and be a little more patient while
nursing.
On my next child (Lord willing there will be) I
will take one of these bottles to the hospital with me, just in case I
have a low milk supply for my second child. My suggestion
would be for you to do the same.
